There are things we don't really mean to hold on to.
A song we haven't played in years.
A picture buried somewhere in our phone.
A place we used to go.
A shirt we wore on a day we still remember.
Funny how the smallest things can stay with us.
Ruh came from that idea.
From wanting to make clothes that feel a little more personal. Something you can put on without thinking too much about it, but somehow it still feels like you.
Our inspiration comes from everywhere — old Pakistani songs, new music, vintage photographs, South Asian culture, the streets around us, and the things we're discovering right now.
We don't want to put a date on any of it.
Because some things feel timeless simply because they mean something to us.
Maybe that's what clothing should be.
Not something you wear once and forget.
Something that slowly becomes part of your memories.
