This notice explains how RUH handles customer and visitor information on this website.
Information RUH processes
Depending on how you use RUH, we may process your name, Bangladesh phone number, email address, profile details, saved delivery addresses, wishlist, order history, product selections, contact enquiries and newsletter subscription. We also process limited session, security, fraud-prevention and rate-limit information needed to protect customers and the website.
Customer accounts
If you create a RUH account, we use your account details to let you sign in, manage your profile, save delivery addresses, sync your wishlist and access account-linked order history across signed-in devices.
Passwords, sessions and sign-in
RUH does not receive, read or store your password. Password recovery, email verification and sign-in security are handled through the account authentication service. Secure session information is used to keep you signed in and to restrict private account data to the correct customer.
Orders and guest orders
For website, guest, manual or Local Delivery orders, RUH may store the customer's name, phone number, email where provided, delivery address, ordered products, colour, size, quantity, stored prices, payment state, delivery method and fulfilment history. Creating an account remains optional, and a guest order is not added to an account solely because an email address matches.
Wishlist, recent views and browser storage
A signed-in wishlist is stored with the RUH account and can sync across devices. A logged-out wishlist, recently viewed products and the shopping bag may be stored only in that browser. When a customer signs in, appropriate browser-local wishlist items are safely merged without duplicates.
Saved addresses
Signed-in customers can add, edit and remove Bangladesh delivery addresses from their own account. Saved addresses are optional and will not be required for guest checkout.
Payments
When online payment is available, an external payment provider processes the payment request. RUH uses the verified payment reference, status and amount needed to confirm the order; reaching a return page alone does not mark an order as paid. Do not send RUH a wallet PIN or full payment credentials.
Delivery and Pathao
For supported courier orders, RUH shares the contact, address, parcel and collection information needed for Pathao to provide delivery and tracking. Local Delivery orders use only the information needed to complete that delivery.
Transactional email
RUH uses Resend to send transactional messages such as order receipts, verified-payment confirmations and dispatch updates. These messages contain only the customer and order information needed for that notification and may include a secure receipt link.
Newsletter and contact messages
Newsletter sign-ups store the submitted email and subscription status for RUH drop communication. Contact enquiries store the details entered in the form so RUH can respond. Transactional order email is separate from marketing communication.
Security and support
RUH uses reasonable safeguards, ownership checks, access controls and limited security logs to protect customer information and prevent misuse. Support and authorized Admin staff may access information only where needed to help with an order, account or security issue. No website can promise absolute security.
Retention
RUH keeps account, enquiry, newsletter, security and order information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, protect customers and the website, meet operational obligations and maintain legitimate transaction records.
Account deletion and requests
Signed-in customers can remove their RUH profile, synced wishlist and saved addresses from the account area. Legitimate transaction records may be retained without an active customer profile where necessary for order records.
Services used by RUH
RUH uses service providers to host the website, store business records, support authentication, process payments, arrange Pathao delivery and send transactional email through Resend. Each provider receives only the information needed for its role, subject to its own service and privacy terms.
